One Healthy Meal a Week
Why Is This Important:
When trying to transition to eating healthy we most often attempt to change all of our eating habits all at once. What this creates is a massive change to our daily routine and the huge shock often times cannot be maintained. Imagine trying to change all of your clothes all at once instead of taking off one piece of clothing at a time. So changing one small piece of your diet and nutrition at a time creates the ability for you to easily maintain a newer healthy lifestyle.
3 Steps:
1. Choose one healthy meal for the week and choose what day of the week you will be making it.
2. Research the meal and make sure that it is delicious and pleasing to the eye. Do not choose a meal that you don’t won’t find palatable. Health doesn’t have to be tasteless.
3. Spend that month with just that one particular meal a week. Now you have learned mastery of this one healthy meal
Conclusion:
Transitioning to being healthy can be very simple. I like to think of it as a change over time and lifestyle as opposed to an immediate fix to weight loss or dis-ease. Master one meal at a time; one meal a week and in time you will be healthier and more knowledgeable about creating the healthy life that you want.
